HNG: Building my way into FullStack Development

HNG Poster

As indicated in my previous post, I do enjoy front-end development as code comes to life visually. Having specialized in backend in the specializations phase of ALX, I have been actively learning and building my way into FullStack Development.

What a better way to go about it than through the hands-on experience of an internship at HNG?

Why HNG?

Having learnt and build around communities, I know all too well, the undeniable value that comes with it. HNG further provides mentors that will be giving detailed feedback.

Thus, I was naturally inclined to apply for the internship sometimes late last year. As I write this, I'm done with the first task and will be awaiting promotion to the next stage.

Which, brings me to my second why. HNG is highly competitive in nature. Tasks are posted randomly and with varying deadlines. Participants only get promoted to the next stage after mentors have reviewed their submissions and ascertained they meet all thresholds.

I see this as a strong catalyst to building discipline and striving for nothing but the very best!

Goals and Aspirations

Within the eight weeks, I have the following goals and aspirations.

Conclusion

In case you're interested, the HNG Internship is still taking applications, they close this Sunday. This is not just for interns, companies too can reap from the experience. If you are looking to HIRE REACT.JS DEVELOPERS or HIRE ANGULAR DEVELOPERS they've got you covered.

HNG finalists are forged in fire!

I intend to be one, at the end of it all 😉

As always, I write hoping to be held accountable on this journey, and to make a difference to the world through whatever little contribution I can make.
